• Former Billboard President Julian Holguin will be joining NFT collective Doodles as the group’s CEO, per today’s announcement.

• Considering Julian’s decade-long experience in the music and entertainment industry, it’s a perfect addition to the group as the CEO is expected to work to expand Doodles IP through entertainment, music, and gaming.

• Doodles is a collection of 10,000 НФТ built on the Ethereum blockchain. Currently, the floor price of Doodles is 22.5 ETH (around $60,000) on OpenSea.

У данашњем саопштењу, NFT collective Doodles shared that Julian Holguin, the former Billboard President is now the new CEO of the group. 

In an official tweet, Doodles noted that the new CEO would work in collaboration with other founders to grow Doodles IP through entertainment, music, and gaming, at the same time infusing the cultural element into the product.

Taking into account the decades-long career experience of Holguin in the music and entertainment industry, it seems like a perfect combination. Holguin acted as the vice-president of brand partnerships, senior vice-president of revenue and partnerships, senior vice president of revenue and partnerships, and as a president too from 2021, during his ten years at the music industry website and chart maker Billboard. 

Doodles is a collection of 10,000 НФТ or non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum блоцкцхаин, launched by Jordan Castro, Evan Keast, and Scott Martin in October 2021. НФТ are blockchain-based assets that can be anything from a picture, poem, song, or digital art. In this case, it is a series of animated humans, apes, living flames, cats, and skeletons.

As of now, the floor price of Doodles is 22.5 ETH (around $60,000) on OpenSea.

NFT Holders can vote on future campaigns and participate in the coordination of the group’s treasury. Thus, making Doodles a DAO and a non-hierarchical online community whose members utilize Web3 tools for organizing and controlling the group amongst themselves. DAOs utilize tokens to incentivize their members and participate in the governance of the group.

Following the announcement, Holguin posted a tweet sharing his excitement that he is “thrilled to be joining Tulip, Poopie, and Burnt Toast @doodles.” He also added that he has some big plans for the future. “Phase 2 starts now – get ready!”
