In the final trial between Bitcoin proponent Peter McCormack and computer scientist Craig Steven Wright (CSW), UK High Court Judge Martin Chamberlain ruled that the former should pay a fine of $1.1 million.

- The judge did not grant Wright’s request for an injunction against McCormack repeating these claims. His permission to appeal the decision was also refused.

- The legal battle stemmed from a 2019 discussion broadcasted on YouTube which shows McCormack calling Wright a liar and a fraud and dismissing his claims of being Satoshi.
