In the final trial between Bitcoin proponent Peter McCormack and computer scientist Craig Steven Wright (CSW), UK High Court Judge Martin Chamberlain ruled that the former should pay a fine of $1.1 million.

Према суду документ, McCormack failed to prove that he was telling the truth when he labeled Wright a fraud. However, Judge Chamberlain said that the legal proceedings have not established that Wright is Satoshi.

• The scientist then contested that McCormack should pay the majority of the costs for legal proceedings but finally agreed to the settlement mentioned above.
• The judge did not grant Wright’s request for an injunction against McCormack repeating these claims. His permission to appeal the decision was also refused.
